Topic:    Negative Wound Pressure Therapy

Brad will discuss wounds and general wound care.  He will identify the mechanisms of action of Negative Wound Pressure and the clinical indications, contraindications, precautions and safety tips of V.A.C. Therapy.  He will describe two types of foam dressings used in V.A.C. Therapy and the indications for each. 

A demonstration will be provided of the proper use of the V.A.C. Therapy System including operation of the Therapy unit and the application of the V.A.C. dressings.
