    Topic:      Hospice and Palliative Care/ an Evolution of End of Life
                  Support Treatment Alternatives

Teresa will discuss the initiatives in end of life care relating to “Hospice Today and Tomorrow”.  She will differentiate two complimentary models of palliative care and how the working definition of palliative care can enhance quality of life issues.

Teresa J Geary, R.N., Liaison for Ruth Lilly Hospice of Clarian.  TJ has been active with many organizations including Indiana Society of Enteral and Parental Nursing ( ISPEN) serving as society president. While maintaining an interest in nutritional support she has transitioned recently to RLH and is actively involved with the emerging palliative care initiative inside Clarian.
